The cultural apex of North Worcester County, the Fitchburg Art Museum houses a permanent collection of European and American paintings, prints, ceramics, and other works, as well as decorative arts and antiquities from Greek, Rome, and Asia. Specific works include contributions by the likes of painter Joseph Stella, woodcut artist Carol Summers, and many more. It lies just west of downtown, across from Crocker Field.
